Spire Dunedin Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Physiologist to join their state of the art Cardiology Department.
Spire Dunedin, has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has a 16 bedded inpatient ward with a mixture of surgical, oncology and end of life care patients. They also have the most comprehensive diagnostic facilities in the area including MRI and CT scanning, digital mammography, ultrasound, and X-ray.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Due to the advanced equipment at the hospital you will be able to maintain your clinical skills to a high level. As a Clinical Physiologist at Spire Dunedin, you will identify the patient’s diagnostic needs, which are realistic to their wishes and circumstances. You will use clinical reasoning skills & develop cardiology plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration their care, risks and wellbeing.
You will also develop a working environment and culture, which actively improves health, safety, security and infection control. Leading others in their development of knowledge, ideas work practices, planning, allocation, assessments and provide feedback to team members.
Who we are looking for:
Ideally, you will either have BTEC Ordinary National Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement or a Master’s Degree in Clinical Physiology. You will also have extensive experience in stress testing, ECG, 24hr ECG & BP monitoring.
